The mural in the dining room creates a sedate mood, with forest scenes in green and gold circling an Edwardian-style dining table and tapestry chairs and chandelier overhead. Most of the other rooms on the first floor have touches by Hope, though she hasn’t formally decorated them all. In the small study, for instance, she supplied the Carleton V Ltd. sheer mini-stripe drapes for privacy.
The second floor of the house is structured by a long hallway covered in murals of jungle birds and several bedrooms opening off the hall. Hope has almost completed the master bedroom, turning its bright-yellow walls to a soothing blue touched with lavender.
