HOUSE AND GARDEN TOUR ON NANTUCKET ISLAND

CELEBRATE THE ARTS IN SOUTH YARMOUTH

The Cultural Center of Cape Cod, 307 Old Main Street. South Yarmouth, hosts its 13th annual Celebration of the Arts Festival, August 7 through August 9.  The festival features dozens of Cape Cod artists and artisans selling their works, including jewelry, pottery, textiles, and more. ENJOY AN ITALIAN MEAL IN MASHPEE

Feast on Italian food, wine and desserts at the La Tavola Italian Feast Under the Stars, held at South Cape Village in Mashpee on Saturday, August 8. This family-style event includes a five-course dinner and live music from Italian tenor Aaron Caruso, celebrating the tradition of an authentic, festive Italian dinner. ELDRED’S OF DENNIS HOSTS SUMMER AUCTION & BAZZAR

Eldred’s Auction House in Dennis hosts its 61st Annual Summer Auction and Bazaar Saturday, August 8, at the Dennis Union Church on Route 6A. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., browse antiques, furniture, and jewelry, or taste baked goods and jams from the Country Store. The day includes a silent auction with proceeds going to local church programs. JOZY FINE ART CELEBRATES THE WORK OF LYNN SHALER

Throughout the summer, Jozy Fine Art celebrates the work of internationally collected artist, Lynn Shaler, who produces fine limited-edition etchings in Paris. Jozy Fine Art is Shaler’s exclusive representative on Cape Cod and the Islands. On Saturday, August 8, a reception will be held for the artist from 5-7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. On Sunday, August 9, from 2-3 p.m., Shaler will be on hand in the gallery to discuss her life in Paris and the techniques she uses to produce her exquisite work. The gallery is at 57 Route 6A in Orleans. TAKE IN A CONCERT BY THE PILGRIM MONUMENT

Enjoy an evening of beautiful music at the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum Summer Sunset Series concerts. On Tuesday, August 11, watch Sonia Bettencourt perform FADO, followed by John Thomas on Tuesday, August 25, playing selections from the American Songbook. 24TH ANNUAL OSTERVILLE ANTIQUES SHOW

Join the Osterville Historical Museum Thursday, August 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the organization’s 24th Annual Antiques Show. Over 35 dealers from across New England are present at the event, selling unique treasures and collectibles. The event is open to the public. The museum is located at 155 West Bay Road, Osterville. PROVINCETOWN JAZZ FESTIVAL

Jazz up your summer with the sounds of domestic and international performers at the 11th Annual Provincetown Jazz Festival. The festivities begin Thursday, August 13, at 7 p.m., at The Crown & Anchor, 247 Commercial Street, Provincetown. The party continues Monday, August 17, at 7:30 p.m. at the Cotuit Center for the Arts, 4404 Route 28, Cotuit. CHATHAM HOSTS ARTS FESTIVAL

See juried art from across the country at the 44th Annual Festival of the Arts at Chase Park in Chatham. The exhibition, put on by the Creative Arts Center, showcases fabric, graphics, photography, jewelry, paintings, pottery, glass and metal works by more than 120 artists. Food and refreshments, face painting, and a children’s art corner make it a fun event for the whole family. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. ANNUAL FALMOUTH WALK

The 25th Annual Falmouth Walk is a summer tradition for many Cape residents. Enjoy scenic views of the beach and harbor along the three-mile course that starts at Falmouth Town Hall Square and ends with a raffle, picnic and auction on the lawn at St. Barnabas Church.
