Owner Jean Neves, a licensed esthetician, offers medspa services such as microdermabrasion and Botox, as well as facials. Botox, she says, is good for filling “dynamic wrinkles” (between the eyes, crow’s feet) while Radiesse is a good volumizing filler for the parenthesis around the mouth. For a jumpstart on the new season, she recommends a customized fruit enzyme peel, which digests dead skin cells and helps brighten skin ($85-95 per treatment). A step up is microdermabrasion or a specialty fusion treatment that may include retinal, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid ($125-$175). In the big picture, Neves says, you have to put in the time. As she says, “Nothing will replace good skincare and maintaining the skin itself.”
