Start the day at Dino’s Harwich Port Grille. Try one of the specials—like their famous homefries with sautéed peppers, onions, and mushrooms topped with cheese and two eggs any style.

Visit the French bistro L’Alouette for an elegant meal paired with good wine. Try the Coquilles St. Jacques à la Parisienne, a dish of scallops and mushrooms in a white wine glaçage.

Harwich is home to historic hotels and inns and charming bed and breakfasts among its old-fashioned dwellings.
