Nauset Beach is a true treasure of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Walk away down seemingly endless stretches of sand for more privacy, and if you buy an oversand vehicle permit, you can drive south for miles. Don’t forget to stop in at Liam’s
Clam Shack for some of the best onion rings around. Just make sure to arrive extra early in the summertime to get a parking space—and beware of the rip currents.
