Don’t-Miss Dining

At Fanizzi’s Restaurant By the Sea, take a seat in the dining room of this picturesque, sea-weathered house for lovely views of Cape Cod Bay. The eclectic menu offers everything from Cape seafood classics to elegant international entrées.

For something out of the ordinary, try Karoo Kafe. This decade-old South African restaurant offers menu options from vegan to carnivorous delights. Try the Bobotie, a curried South African meatloaf served with rice and Karoo chutney.

Head to Dalla Cucina for classic fare in the Italian tradition. Seasonal and locally sourced ingredients distinguish the restaurant’s menu.

Point of Interest

Evening beach bonfires are permitted on six beaches at the Cape Cod National Seashore, including Herring Cove Beach and Race Point Beach in Provincetown. The permits are free, but are very limited in number. To reserve one, call or visit the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham (508-255-3421) or the Province Lands Visitor Center in Provincetown (508-487-1256). Priority is given to applicants present at the visitor centers in the morning.
