Point of Interest
Evening beach bonfires are permitted on six beaches at the Cape Cod National Seashore, including Herring Cove Beach and Race Point Beach in Provincetown. The permits are free, but are very limited in number. To reserve one, call or visit the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham (508-255-3421) or the Province Lands Visitor Center in Provincetown (508-487-1256). Priority is given to applicants present at the visitor centers in the morning.
