Don’t-Miss Dining

In business for more than 300 years, Dan’l Webster Inn & Spa was a meeting place for Patriots revolting against the British in the 1770s. Today, the inn welcomes overnight guests and also has an acclaimed restaurant offering a great mix of innovative and traditional fare.

From gourmet coffee to take-home cuisine and homemade sandwiches and soups, Momo’s Food Emporium on Route 6A is a year-round delight.  Momo’s also has cooking classes.

Dunbar Tea Shop has fine tea room delights including teas galore, sandwiches, pastries, ales, and wine all served in cosy old-fashioned charm in the heart of Sandwich village.

Point of Interest

Heritage Museums & Gardens offers miles of walking paths through gorgeous plantings of rhododendron, azalea, and daylily  (don’t miss the Cape Cod Hydrangea Society garden!),  and three museums featuring American art. Take the kids to Hidden Hollow, which is one of the museum’s newest attractions and is a naturally formed kettle hole surrounded by native trees and plants. Youngsters can walk the discovery trails, build with blocks and sticks, create nature-inspired art, and engage in scientific investigation. There are terrific programs and events here for all ages!
