Cape Cod Beer, Local Brewer—Not World Conqueror

I was working for a company called Lexicon back in the 1980s and I was sharing a house with a fellow engineer in Waltham. One year for Christmas, we decided we were going to buy each other half of a home brew kit, so we got together and made our first batch of beer together. I’m sure if we were to go back and taste that beer today, it would be horrible by comparison.
