Things To Do

Whether it’s elegant artworks hung on the walls or unique music resonating off of its high ceilings, there’s always something going on at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. A year-round calendar of events, exhibits, and classes nurtures emerging and established artists of all media, genres, and styles. Admission to many events is free.

The scenic 22-acre Taylor-Bray Farm, founded in the 1600s, is listed on the National Record of Historic Places and is open to the public daily. The setting includes a farmhouse, barn, and walking paths. Take advantage of special events, including a fall festival, a winter open house, and a summer sheep shearing festival. Admission is free, but donations to care for the animals are appreciated.

Beach It!

For a quiet beach getaway, head to Gray’s Beach. This little-known beach on the north side of Yarmouthport is fun for the whole family, and no beach sticker is required. Find calm water, picnic tables, restrooms, and a playground. Witness crabs, quahogs, osprey, and other wildlife in a natural setting as you walk the 860-foot Bass Hole Boardwalk that stretches across lush marshland near the beach.
