Arpad Voros and Sheila FitzGerald | Old Yarmouth Inn

Couples looking to celebrate their special day in an intimate venue with a storied history need look no further than the award-winning Old Yarmouth Inn on Route 6A in Yarmouth. With value placed on tradition, elegance, professionalism, and beauty, owners Arpad Voros and Sheila FitzGerald and banquet manager Stacey Maguire provide brides and their families with a memorable wedding experience on a reasonable budget.

Planning the Perfect Wedding

“Everything that takes place within the Old Yarmouth Inn is our baby,” says Voros. “We do everything over the phone or face to face. There is no casual, e-mail-based relationship when it comes to weddings.” Recommendations for anything from photographers to bakers are also provided to couples in need.

The Historical Society of Old Yarmouth’s Kelley Chapel, connected to the Old Yarmouth Inn via footbridge, makes for a smooth transition from ceremony to celebration. Guests can park in one central location and enjoy a calm wooded setting for the ceremony and make their way over to the inn when the party begins.

Packages range from $70 to $85 per person, which covers stationery, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and cake service. Buffet-style dining and plated dinners are both available. Clients can choose to rent out the main dining room, which can hold up to 110 guests, or the whole house, which includes the tavern and dance area at a 140-guest minimum.

It is recommended that clients book with the Old Yarmouth Inn up to 18 months in advance. Fall tends to be the busiest season, with summer a close second. While the inn itself does not have any accommodations, Voros and Maguire are happy to recommend any of the 10 top-rate inns located within half a mile.

Built in 1696, the Old Yarmouth Inn has all the makings of a perfect wedding venue: the charm of a bygone era, a professional staff, delicious food, a central location for easy access to all of Cape Cod, and, of course, a professional staff to ensure couples experience a special day they’ll never forget.
