Food for Thought
When the Chapoquoit Grill was founded over 20 years ago it was a “scary, but simple” decision according to co-owner Bob Cook. Cook and primary owner John Reid began serving big flavored food inspired by Mediterranean and Caribbean cuisine and to this day, happy diners line up outside the door on summer evenings.
In their second year, the duo brought in a wood-fired brick oven much to the delight of their customers. “The control of the heat gives our razor thin pizzas the flavor of the wood,” says Cook.
The consistency of the food combined with the comfortable and social atmosphere at the bar makes for a great evening out no matter what the occasion.
This West Falmouth landmark contains the only wood-fired brick oven in town—and produces some of the most unique and flavorful pizzas on the Cape.
