35th Annual Yarmouth Seaside Festival  |  October 12–14

Back in 1978, South Yarmouth resident Jan Butler wanted to celebrate her town and foster a sense of community pride. Now, the Yarmouth Seaside Festival she founded draws more than 25,000 visitors from around the region to participate in a full day of fun on Columbus Day weekend. Featuring a parade, kayak and road races, pie-eating contests, fireworks, and more, it’s a great way to enjoy the shoulder season. Admission to the festival is free. For a schedule of events or more information, visit yarmouthseasidefestival.com or call 508-778-1008.
