Martha’s Vineyard International Film Festival  |  September 5–8

This bucolic island becomes a paradise for fans of the silver screen during the Martha’s Vineyard International Film Festival. Presented by the Martha’s Vineyard Film Society, the festival features four days of parties, get-togethers, live music, and screenings of feature-length and short films from around the world. Nantucket’s Annual Cranberry Festival  |  October 12

Enjoy one of Nantucket’s most beautiful scenes at the Annual Cranberry Festival, held at the Milestone Cranberry Bog. Watch as the bright red berries go through the rite of the wet harvest, enjoy great music and activities, learn about the rich history of cranberry farming on the island, and leave with a bag of fresh Nantucket cranberries. Every October, Martha’s Vineyard plays host to one of the best gastronomical highlights of the season: the Martha’s Vineyard Food and Wine Festival.
