Chrissy’s Caprese Salad


  • 3 large fresh tomatoes
  • 1 ball fresh Mozzarella cheese
  • One bunch fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil


  1. Alternate ¼ inch thick slices of both tomatoes and mozzarella on a large oval platter. Bunch fresh basil leaves together and cut into confetti pieces with scissors over the salad.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over salad and garnish with whole basil leaves.
