- 3 large fresh tomatoes
- 1 ball fresh Mozzarella cheese
- One bunch fresh basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Alternate ¼ inch thick slices of both tomatoes and mozzarella on a large oval platter. Bunch fresh basil leaves together and cut into confetti pieces with scissors over the salad.
- Drizzle olive oil over salad and garnish with whole basil leaves.
