• 5 pounds lean ground turkey
  • fresh basil to taste, chopped
  • 1 onion
  • 1 whole bulb of elephant garlic
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • Progresso Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup grated Romano cheese


  1. Finely mince garlic and onion, sauté in olive oil and add fresh sweet basil. In a large bowl, combine turkey, garlic and onion. Mix well.
  2. Scramble egg and add to mixture along with breadcrumbs and cheese.
  3. Form into small or medium sized balls. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes each side.
