- 5 pounds lean ground turkey
- fresh basil to taste, chopped
- 1 onion
- 1 whole bulb of elephant garlic
- extra virgin olive oil
- Progresso Italian breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- ½ cup grated Romano cheese
- Finely mince garlic and onion, sauté in olive oil and add fresh sweet basil. In a large bowl, combine turkey, garlic and onion. Mix well.
- Scramble egg and add to mixture along with breadcrumbs and cheese.
- Form into small or medium sized balls. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes each side.
