Spiced Cranberries

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 ½ cups raw sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon allspice
  • ½ teaspoon cloves
  • ½ teaspoon ginger
  • 3 cups cranberries


In a large saucepan combine water, sugar, and spices. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 20 minutes. Add cranberries and simmer on low for 2 hours. (This has the added benefit of making your house smell wonderful!). Seal in jars using water bath canner or refrigerate.
