Ginger Molasses Cookies
  1. Preheat oven to 325°.
  2. Cream butter, sugar, and molasses until light and fluffy. Add the egg and incorporate. Sift the dry ingredients and spices. Add to the mixture and stir until combined.
  3. Chill dough until firm. Roll dough into balls and then roll in sugar. Bake on a parchment-lined cookie sheet until firm in the center.
