From the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, where he loved building in his backyard as a child, to designing beautiful homes on the waterfront of Cape Cod today, design and construction have always been at the forefront of architect John Dvorsack’s life and continue to be his informing passion.

“It’s fun for me to produce something that makes someone’s life better,” Dvorsack says, describing just what inspires him to design elegant homes with a unique awareness of the coastal world surrounding his work.

A member of the American Institute of Architects, Dvorsack has been creating highly regarded residential architecture on the Cape for 30 years. As the principal of a small, yet well-known and respected firm, Dvorsack says his company, which is located in Falmouth, is able to provide personalized service throughout every step of the design process.

“When you hire me,” he says, “you get me from concept to completion.”

Dvorsack says the process of designing, permitting, and constructing any size project on Cape Cod can be complicated and intimidating to many homeowners.

“I believe designing someone’s home is a great responsibility, and I take that responsibility very seriously,” he says.

Patience, trust, and communication, he explains, are the keys to a successful project, whether the home is a spacious, waterfront estate, or a Cape cottage.

Dvorsack offers not only knowledge of what it takes to design and build homes in sensitive environmental areas, including what permitting steps are required, but also an ability to understand each client’s lifestyle needs.

“My goal is to not only design beautiful and functional homes, but to make this process as smooth and enjoyable as possible for each client,” he says.
