Zesty Lemon Garlic Pesto Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lbs fresh shrimp
  • 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil from The Spice & Tea Exchange
  • 2 tbsp Zesty Lemon Garlic Pesto from The Spice & Tea Exchange
  • 2 whole lemons
  • jasmine rice or angel hair pasta optional

Instructions

  • Prepare Shrimp. Peel, devein, and rinse shrimp. Coat all sides with Zesty Lemon Garlic Pesto. 
  • Sauté Shrimp. Gently sauté shrimp in olive oil, (11/2 minutes per side - do not overcook). Squeeze the juice of 2 whole lemons over the shrimp. 
  • Serve shrimp on its own or over jasmine rice or angel hair pasta. The combination of olive oil, cheese powder, and lemon juice creates a scrumptious lemon gravy!
