Earning Client Confidence Through Passion and Skill

After providing local homeowner Ellie Willis with some cost estimates related to renovating her newly purchased—but dated—Chatham home, Hamisses Lobo of Wolf Carpentry earned her business through the completion of several smaller projects; demonstrating his expertise and earning the new client’s trust to proceed with a larger-scale interior renovation.

“I’m very hands on and I know what I’m doing, so I’m a tough customer,” says Willis, an experienced home stager who had also renovated several homes prior to moving to Chatham. 

“I hadn’t worked with Wolf Carpentry before, so we started slowly, renovating a couple small rooms,” recalls Willis. “Hamisses was knowledgeable, highly skilled, very collaborative, dependable and brought good ideas to the table. 

“He came through every single time,” adds Willis. “Whenever I asked him to do something, he completed it perfectly, as I wanted it, on time and within my budget. He was fantastic.”

Lobo, who learned the carpentry and building trades while growing up around his family’s hotel in São Paulo, Brazil, established Wolf Carpentry in 2017. Wolf and his team handle construction, renovation, remodeling, finish carpentry and maintenance projects for residential and commercial clients across Cape Cod. 

In addition, Lobo also specializes in historic-home renovations, handles high-end home projects and is a skilled millworker capable of hand-crafting wooden design elements for any home. “If you show me a photo of a woodwork project that you like,” says Hamisses. “I can create it for you.”

“When Hamisses showed me some of his ideas and knowing what he was capable of, I said, ‘Go for it,’ and it all came out beautifully!”
