A New Chapter in a 103-Year Legacy

On Cape Cod and Nantucket, the kitchen is more than just a utilitarian space. It’s the backdrop for seaside family dinners, sunset cocktails with friends, and holiday gatherings that spill well beyond the summer season. When appliances fail—on the Fourth of July, the day before Thanksgiving, or just when guests arrive—the rhythm of island and coastal life is disrupted. Enter Yale Appliance, a company with a 103-year heritage, now opening showrooms in Hyannis and Nantucket to meet those needs with precision, reliability, and an unwavering commitment to customer care.

Founded in Boston’s North End in 1923, Yale began as a modest neighborhood shop. Over the decades, it has evolved into a regional leader with six locations, more than 300 employees, and a reputation for blending top-tier product knowledge with best-in-class service. Dennis, Vice President of Sales, has witnessed that growth firsthand during his nearly 23 years with the company.

“When I started, there were five dealers doing more than we do, and we had maybe 25 employees,” he recalls. “Today, we’re twenty times larger than the average dealer. But the real secret isn’t size—it’s execution. We don’t make the products. We make our mark in how we support customers after the sale.”
