How a reluctant homeowner found the courage to try one more time—and discovered her dream kitchen and bath with CPP Kitchens in Dennis.

There are few home projects as emotionally charged as a kitchen renovation. It is, after all, the heart of the home—the place where meals are made, families gather, and the everyday rhythms of life unfold. For one Cape Cod homeowner, the dream of a new kitchen had become something closer to a nightmare. After years of consultations that left her feeling dismissed, uninspired, and at times even insulted, she was ready to abandon her hopes altogether. The appliances she had ordered were destined to be resold, and she had resigned herself to making do with a kitchen that would never reflect her taste or her daily needs.

Then came the radio ad. Her husband heard it first—an advertisement for CPP Kitchens in Dennis, owned by designer Antoaneta “Toni” Jovanov. He persuaded her to take one more leap of faith, one more meeting, one more chance. She was reluctant, exhausted from disappointment, but agreed. It was a turning point she could not have foreseen.

From the moment she walked into the CPP showroom and was greeted by Toni’s smile, something shifted. After a year of strained meetings with other professionals, the warmth and welcome were disarming. It wasn’t just a pleasantry—it was the beginning of trust. “It was the first time anyone smiled at me through the whole process,” she remembers. Cautiously, she showed Toni the inspiration photo she had been afraid to reveal to others, a kitchen rich with brass details and Cremone Bolt hardware. Where others had scoffed, Toni simply said, “Beautiful.”
