From custom fabrics to one-of-a-kind custom furniture, Nautique gives clients exactly what they are looking for.

When it comes to home design on Cape Cod, there is nowhere quite like Nautique. From its custom furniture collections to their extensive fabric library, Nautique is a year-round one-stop shop for exclusive design needs. After 20 years in the business, owner Marsha Malone prides herself on her relationships with clients, as well as Nautique’s quality, custom offerings.

Based in a historic building in Brewster, Nautique is an inviting coastal haven. Malone offers full interior design service, whether you need wallpaper for a powder room or your home’s entire interior. With her substantial fabric library, featuring various lines at every price point, she crafts custom slip covers, upholstery, panels and pillows, among other needs.

Nautique’s true claims to fame are their two custom furniture collections. The Nautique Sail Loft Collection features reclaimed wood from old barns, homes and sail lofts crafted into one-of-a-kind farm tables, end tables, beds or any other requests. The Nautique Coastal Collection uses premium grade mahogany and beadboard to create nautically inspired furniture tailored to each client. “I began making furniture about 12 years ago. We have our own carpenters and painters for our other products, so I thought, ‘Why not build people exactly what they want.’ It’s not something you can buy elsewhere,” Malone comments.

“I have a cadre of craftspeople. I feel so proud of their work and feel confident when they go into one of my client’s homes. A lot of what we do are very unique pieces, which I think really sets us apart,” she says. Adding to their top-notch service, Nautique is a Hunter Douglas Certified Dealer with their own installer for
all Hunter Douglas shades and window treatments.

“It’s an honor when somebody invites you into their home to help create their sanctuary,” says Malone.
“It’s the people who make it. Whatever it may be, everybody has a story.”
