Nantucket Cranberry Festival
October 6: Nantucket Cranberry Festival
The Nantucket Cranberry Festival is about as quintessential Cape Cod as you can get. The famed state fruit stars at this festival in a day of food, music and education about cranberry harvesting. Nantucket is often thought of as a summer vacation spot, but you’ll find Nantucket during the fall season is just as lovely, and quite peaceful. Now in its 15th year, the Cranberry Festival features a large variety of events throughout the day, including hay rides, cranberry harvesting, live music, a petting zoo, and food vendors with just about every cranberry food creation you can think of.
