September 15-16: Harwich Cranberry Festival
Set up on the fields of the Harwich Community Center, the Harwich Cranberry Festival will take place September 15-16. This festival is well-known for its large craft fair and live music. The event is free and benefits children in the community through scholarships and grants. Enjoy food, music and art at this festival while the weather still feels like summer. September 15: Cape Cod Roots & Blues Festival, Orleans
Inaugural event featuring live music, Hog Island beer and food trucks, all on Nauset Beach. Headliner and organizer G. Love and Special Sauce close out the day.
October 19-20: Surf Film Festival, Orleans
Hog Island Beer Company throws open their doors and hangs ten for a whole weekend of nonstop classic surf films, including locally shot gems.
October 20: Chatham Oktoberfest, Chatham
Held at Kate Gould Park, this one-day event features beer, bratwurst, cupcake contests, kids’ activities and Pumpkin People in the Park, life-sized soft sculptures of whimsical characters.
