October 13-14: Wellfleet OysterFest
The Wellfleet OysterFest, in its 18th year, has returned for another weekend of food, drink and entertainment. During the two-day festival, families can enjoy arts and crafts shows, live music, cooking demonstrations, educational talks, and the much anticipated Oyster Shuck-Off Competition. OysterFest activities will take place on Main Street in Wellfleet on the 13th and 14th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and ticket sales support the Wellfleet SPAT, which donates college scholarships and community grants. September 14-16: Provincetown Book Festival
The third year for this event features three days of literary panels, presentations and performances for writers and book lovers of all kinds.
September 21-23: Truro Treasures
A weekend packed with a variety of family-friendly events. Be sure to check out the Arts & Crafts Fair and Flea Market on Saturday and Sunday.
September 27-30: Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival
This year’s theme for the 13th annual festival is Wishful Thinking, with five plays by Williams as well as Chekhov, Beckett and other compelling playwrights.
