When nonprofit Cape Cod Culinary Incubator (CCCI), was searching for a commercial kitchen facility to help fulfill their mission of empowering culinary entrepreneurship across the Cape, KAM stepped up. Carving space out of their new state-of-the-art showroom and donating all the commercial appliances needed, KAM gave CCCI a space to call home allowing the nonprofit to provide members with a shared-use certified commercial kitchen facility to help entrepreneurs build their businesses. 

Focused on ensuring their philanthropic efforts make as much of an impact as possible, KAM partners with Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod to donate all major appliances for each new home build. With 2024’s Habitat Blitz Build, KAM is not only donating all of the appliances, they are also providing expert installation services as well as a finale volunteer cook-out where the new Weber grill will also be donated to the home owner. Habitat for Humanity’s ReStores receive KAM donations of slightly scratched/dented appliances and KAM encourages their customers to donate still-working/under 

10 year old appliances when making a new purchase for their home. All proceeds from ReStore sales are used to further Habitat for Humanity’s goal of providing local families with shelter, self-reliance and stability. 

Additionally, KAM Appliances partners with the Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center to offer quarterly cooking classes for veterans. Guided by KAM’s Executive Chef, vets get to cook in the live kitchens of the Hyannis showroom and leave with not only reusable containers, shopping bags, recipe cards, and cooking utensils, but also a generous gift card for them to use at local Stop & Shop supermarkets. A discount is offered at KAM to all past and present members of the military, and their immediate families.
