Woody Mills is a Mashpee resident and a native Cape Codder. Retired from his position as director of Mass Audubon’s Ashumet Holly & Wildlife Sanctuary, Woody spends most of his time kayak fishing—and trying to make up for lost time
in fly fishing. In 2016 he penned an article for Cape Cod LIFE about writer Henry David Thoreau’s 19th-century visit to Naushon Island.
