Sumptuous, luxurious, hand-printed textiles made for everyday living.

A decade ago, Suchira Palit and her mother Kalpana decided to share their passion for the hand-printed textiles that they enjoyed in their own homes. “We wanted to create a brand that fuses the beautiful and distinctive techniques of Indian artistry with a sophisticated coastal flare,” Suchira explains about the genesis of the company. Kalpana, who sadly passed away in 2020 after a brave battle with ALS, named the company after her daughter, representing the faith and commitment she had in the brand.
The beautiful and breathable block printed quilt designs are created by Suchira and then fabricated in India, while acknowledging old-world techniques and materials. Comfortable soft bedding products include quilts, duvets and coverlets, as well as throw pillows, bolsters and shams.

A new offering includes Kantha Throws, up-cycled saris that are fashioned into colorful, resplendent throws. The Kantha throws are simply works of art, that also offer functional comfort in your home. A line of women’s tunics puts a new spin on this classic look. The fresh re-interpretation of the staple found in many wardrobes, is re-imagined as an off-the-shoulder design, or in an unexpected fabric and color option for a cool and casual day out. Suchira’s commitment to quality means homeowners now have an elegant option for today’s lifestyle.
