Gather ‘Round for the Holidays
Why let the walls contain your joy? What better way to incorporate your natural surroundings in your holiday tablescape than dining outdoors? With Eastham’s serene Salt Pond as the backdrop, Masterson designed this tablescape to be as elegant as it is relaxed. Accents of Juliska silverware, place settings and crystal, along with Vietri and Mariposa serveware and a show-stopping floral arrangement by Blossoms of Cape Cod, elevate the look, she says. Juliska straw placemats and a rustic barn door table by Colonial Tables balance out these finer details and draw in the surrounding seagrass. Just as important as your surroundings are in designing your tablescape, says Masterson, is the meal you’re serving. Here, the silver tones and textured, natural elements complement the main course—clams and mussels.
