Give the timeless gift of style and accuracy this season.

The gift-giving season can be stressful. The process of trying to be creative and thoughtful often causes us to spin our wheels, and the result is a lackluster, forgettable purchase. This time around, give a gift that is not only unique and special, but also functional, decorative and will undoubtedly become an heirloom piece. Cape Cod Wind & Weather, located in West Harwich, has precision instruments to display in your home or business that will solicit ooohs and ahhs for years to come.

For over 85 years, Cape Cod Wind & Weather has been creating high-quality weather and wind instruments, each item hand-crafted on-site with expertise, precision, and superb quality.

A gift from Cape Cod Wind & Weather is one that reflects thoughtfulness and contains significance—a focal point of conversation whether it is displayed on a mantel or wall of your home or workplace. For the one who has everything, the golfer, the weather enthusiast, the business owner, the boater, the fisherman, the newlywed, the new homeowner, the sailor, or simply the grandparent who can share unique and treasured moments with a grandchild—a Cape Cod Wind & Weather instrument is the perfect gift.

There are few classic items that can be considered a legacy piece as well as functional and decorative—a distinctive product that not only embodies modern technology but also is representative of the Yankee craftsmanship that New England is known for. There is something heartwarming about an item that elicits meaningful conversation and reminds us of the occasion on which we received it as well as the person who chose it for us.

Personalize your special gift by combining mulitple pieces in a unique instrument panel in rich wood tones with contrasting solid brass or brushed nickel faces. Different meteorological functions can provide reliable information about local weather, tides, rainfall, barometer or temperature while also lending style to any space.

Leslie Hatton

Leslie (Horne) Hatton enthusiastically joined Cape Cod Life in October of 2022. Educated in Mashpee and Falmouth, she graduated from Assumption College and received her Master of Education degree from Lesley College. A former teacher, she has taught middle school, preschool and most recently, fifth grade. She and her husband Tom have three children: Aidan, Colin, and Erin. Their newest family member is Millie, an outgoing, outrageously happy chocolate lab. She loves to talk about all of them so better not ask. One neat tidbit about Leslie is that she is the author of the locally best-selling children’s book Cape Cod ABCs, with over 10K books sold on Cape Cod, the Islands and across Massachusetts. Happiest in the summer with a little sun on her face, she loves being with friends and her family, laughing, drinking and eating all over beautiful Cape Cod.
