Judith Keneman picked up photography as a hobby after retiring in 2011. She was a frequent participant in Cape Cod Life’s annual photo contest—winning her first photo award from Cape Cod Life in 2012, which led to four years of award-winning photos being featured in Cape Cod LIFE magazine, as well as the cover of our 2013 annual calendar. Judith and her husband, Scott, famously drove all the way from their home in New Jersey to Mashpee Commons one day to attend the magazine’s “Best of” party at Puritan Cape Cod. Judith passed away in May 2012, after a battle with lung cancer. Though gone too soon, Judith had a life well lived, was well loved, and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
